1 Understanding
Every project begins with a conversation. At our first meeting, I’ll listen closely to how you live in the space, what works, what doesn’t, and the small daily moments that matter. We’ll explore your aesthetic preferences and help refine the style that fits your life. Together we’ll sketch out early ideas and build the project’s foundation, while also covering budget and timeline so expectations are clear from the start. This initial consultation is free to see if Northstead Studio is the right fit for your project.
The notes from our initial meeting become the foundation for Northstead Studio’s design brief. From there I’ll begin the design phase, where every choice balances function, aesthetics, budget, safety, longevity and more. By the end of this stage you’ll receive a complete design package; concept sketches, material recommendations and pricing so you can see the vision and costs clearly. A design fee applies for this phase; if Northstead Studio continues with the project, that fee is credited toward the final total.
2 Design
When you’ve had a chance to review the design package, we’ll meet to walk through the options and pick the best direction for production. Together we’ll refine the design and make adjustments until it matches your vision. Our goal is a clear, finalized plan so the finished installation looks exactly like the dream you imagined—no surprises, just the perfect result.
3 Refine
Because Northstead Studio manages every step, we know your project inside out. Each element is handcrafted with care and precision, using durable materials selected for long-lasting performance. Every detail is faithfully executed to honor the original design. To ensure quality and minimize disruption, most work is assembled offsite—so your space stays functional while the vision is brought to life.
4 Craft
